Sainik School Admission Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Class 6 Admission

Age Limit : Candidate must be 10 to 12 years
Academic Requirement : Candidate must be studying in Class 5 in a recognizedschool at the time of applying
Gender : Both boys and girls can apply for Class 6.
Nationality : Only Indian citizens are eligible

Sainik Schools want students who are emotionally and physically ready for hostel life,discipline, and academic pressure. This age group is considered ideal for starting theSainik School journey.

Eligibility for Class 9 Admission

Age Limit : Candidate must be 13 to 15 years old
Academic Requirement : Candidate should be studying in Class 8 in a recognizedschool.
Gender : Boys are eligible in most schools. Some Sainik Schools may offer limitedseats for girls under special pilot programs.
Nationality : Only Indian citizens are eligible
